From 2010 to 2019 De Beer Meat Co was made in Capalaba. Our first factory opened there in 2010 and was expanded in 2016. That’s where we started contract manufacturing, custom recipe blending and packing for other brands. The Redlands grew up with our biltong, and we haven’t forgotten it.
We’ve since moved to a bigger factory in Rocklea, but delivery to Capalaba, Cleveland, Victoria Point and the bayside suburbs is quick. Fresh boerewors goes out chilled for the barbecue. Dry biltong, biltong sticks and droëwors are perfect for the boat, the ferry to Straddie, or a long afternoon at Wellington Point.
