Even in Far North Queensland, you can get proper South African biltong delivered. We ship whole and sliced biltong, biltong sticks and droëwors from Rocklea to Cairns, the Northern Beaches and the Tablelands. Everything is made to the De Beer family recipe from 1970.
Cairns humidity is tough on most snacks. Biltong and droëwors are air-dried, and they keep best in a paper bag somewhere cool, or in the fridge once opened (see our storage guide). They’re great for the reef boat or a trip up to Kuranda. Fresh boerewors can’t travel this far chilled, so stick to the dry range.

Yes. We deliver biltong, biltong sticks and droëwors to Cairns and surrounding areas, including Cairns City, Edge Hill, Manunda, Earlville. Every order is packed at our factory in Rocklea, Brisbane. We pack orders Monday to Wednesday so they never sit in a depot over the weekend.
Can I get fresh boerewors delivered in Cairns?
Not at the moment. Fresh boerewors has to arrive chilled, and Cairns is too far for us to guarantee that. All dry products (biltong, biltong sticks and droëwors) ship to Cairns at the standard rate.
